FITSAT-1 NIWAKA

FITSAT-1 is a 1U cubesat built at the Fukuoka Institute of Technology. It's primary mission is to demonstrate a high-speed 115.2 kbps transmitter on 5.8 GHz. It also includes high power LEDs which will be driven by 200W pulses and will hopefully be visible from the ground. It was launched from the International Space Station.

Timothy: Thank you! Spiros: FITSAT_CW_Analyzer.zip http://turing.cs.fit.ac.jp/~fitsat/dataformat.html

Александр: I'm not sure. It was 408 km altitude when it launched in October. Now it is about 394 km altitude.

Spiros: Click the "Submit data" button above and enter your data (e.g. S1 F1 E0 19 B7) there. It will then decode the telemetry and display it.

I am looking for the telemetry decoder for FITSAT-1. Anyone has the link to download the program TNX - 73, Spiros - SV8CS

How much time will work Niwaka?
buzcut tuczub · 2012-10-23 01:41 UTC
oh on my youtube page (kf1buz) i have a recording of the last pass.
buzcut tuczub · 2012-10-23 01:40 UTC
thanks, I have the beams setup great no issues on the other birds, still just getting squelch breaks and not clean tone. i am guessing its the radio rather than the antenna it just can't pull the signal.
Timothy Stranex HB9FFH · 2012-10-22 21:11 UTC
You could try using Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ) to record the audio during the pass without Mix-W and then decode it by ear afterwards. Another thing to check is whether the beam antenna is pointed correctly. Also, maybe a LNA could help.
buzcut tuczub · 2012-10-21 22:32 UTC
i have a kenwood tm-v708 radio connected to a 144 and 440 beam I use mix w for decoding
Timothy Stranex HB9FFH · 2012-10-18 17:58 UTC
Which radio are you using? If the CW is weak, you can try recording the audio and then analyse it afterwards.
buzcut tuczub · 2012-10-18 17:05 UTC
hi all, I am trying to decode the info, but I do not know what program to use, my radio does not tune 437.4450/ and the CW is weak for me that mix w cannot hear it.
